Kayla Auletto

Kayla Auletto (MPP ‘16) Program Coordinator, Georgetown University’s Institute of Politics and Public Service   Kayla manages all aspects of Career Programming, including: Career Chats, the HIPPSter* (Hoyas in Politics and Public Service) series, Career Workshops, employer site visits, and manages online career resources and networks for the GU Politics community.

She also oversees the GU Politics Mentorship Program, which pairs students and practitioners for one semester with the goal of connecting students with leaders in politics and public service.   Kayla was herself a member of the inaugural Student Advisory Board while pursuing a Master of Public Policy during the 2015-2016 academic year. A 2016 graduate of the McCourt School of Public Policy, Kayla served as the Co-Director of the Policy Innovation Lab, an organization that convenes the talents of students, faculty, and the local community to tackle policy issues in the DC area through a human-centered design approach.   She previously worked in the Office of Social Innovation at The White House and with the Council on Foundations, supporting the work of the nonprofit, public, and private sectors to address systemic social issues. Kayla is a graduate of the University of Michigan and enjoys creating engaging programs for GU Politics and continuing to explore the important intersection of public service and politics.
