He is a founding member of Cercle-K2, a French think-tank on risk management, a Senior Fellow at the Asian Bureau of Finance and Economic Research and Research Fellow at the French Military Police Academy (CREOGN). He organizes Blockchain related events such the Hyperledger Meet-up series in Washington DC and has given multiple talks on this technology in front of professional audiences. His research interests include the economic analysis of information as well as behavioral economics. His work has been published in leading academic journals. He is among the top 0.003% most downloaded authors (out of 424,000) in the Social Science Research Network. His work has been profiled in media outlets such as the Financial Times, Le Monde, Bloomberg, The Hindu, among many others. He has taught in different capacity for institutions such as INSEAD, Northwestern University, the University of Chicago, HKUST, or Tsinghua University. His portfolio of courses includes Operational Risk in Banking, Risk Management for Board Members, Financial Risk Management, and Fraud Red Flags. He holds a PhD from the University of Chicago and a French professional accounting certification (DESCF).
