Anthony Annan is Associate Professor of the Practice at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, where he teaches financial management and global business and leads experiential courses, including the Global Business Experience. His research centers on development and corporate finance; recent work includes “Sources of funding and performance of microfinance institutions over the life cycle” (International Review of Financial Analysis, 2024). Previously, he held senior finance and strategy roles across private, public, and international organizations. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Finance) from Georgia State University, an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, and an M.Sc. from the Warsaw School of Economics.
