Shripal Shah is the GM, Personal Shopper at Shop Your Way. (Part of Sears Holdings). Shah has been tasked with transforming this business-critical initiative into a sustainable, profitable, growing business; while serving as a core member of the Shop Your Way Leadership Team. Shop Your Way is one of the world's largest service ecosystems and engagement platforms, enabling both consumers and businesses to realize their goals.
Shah has more than 20 years of experience in digital strategy, development and execution and has spent 10 years in professional sports. A frequent panelist at top industry conferences, including SXSW, Ad Age, and Social Media Week. Shah has also been featured in Mashable, The Wall Street Journal, Sports Business Journal among other media publications.
Prior to working at Shop Your Way, Shah was the EVP, Enterprise Solutions at KiwiTech an early stage investor and technology solutions partners for over 150 emerging start-ups. Shah has previously served as the Chief Executive Officer at MOKO Social Media (NASDAQ: MOKO), developers of the award winning and Apple iTunes Top 5 sports mobile app REC*IT. During Shah’s tenure at MOKO, he helped scale REC*IT to serve over 1.4 million students athletes at over 1280 colleges and 3500 high schools in the US. While at MOKO, Shah sold the running community/website, RunHaven to Competitor Group (now Ironman) the largest running race organizers in the world.
Shah has had two stints with the Washington Redskins as a Senior Vice President, most recently serving as their Chief Strategy Officer. As CSO at the Redskins he was tasked with maximizing the team’s strategic and business prospects and overseeing the organization’s marketing strategy, client services, creative services and digital/social media teams.
Prior to serving as CSO of the Redskins, Shah served as SVP, Chief Digital Strategist for Catalyst Public Relations (acquired by WME/IMG in 2013). While at Catalyst, Shah was the social media architect for multiple award-winning programs, including the Dick’s Sporting Goods Foundation PACE (Protecting Athletes through Concussion Education) initiative featuring Jerome Bettis and Drew Brees, which earned “Best Cause Related Marketing Campaign of the Year” honors at the 2012 SABRE Awards.
