Kathy Devine

Kathy has earned her reputation as a sports and entertainment industry expert. She currently serves as VP of Marketing for DZL in Nashville, TN, which also owns and operates Cannery Hall Music & Events venue. Other recent experience includes Corporate Partnerships at Live Nation, focusing on music festivals like Bonnaroo, High Water and securing naming rights for the First Bank Amphitheater in Franklin, TN.  She’s helped hundreds of students realize their dream of working in sports. Devine is an online, graduate sports professor for Georgetown University and also taught at Belmont University in their graduate sports program. She's worked for prominent national advertising agencies, media conglomerates and presented at various sponsorship/marketing conferences. Kathy's professional sports experience includes creating sponsorship platforms for the NHL, NBA and WNBA franchises at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. She has significant experience strategizing, negotiating and implementing successful marketing partnerships for national brands like Dunkin Donuts, MillerCoors, Walmart, Bacardi, AAA and others.  

She’s also a master trainer and has lent her expertise to enhance professional staff development and corporate culture, increase marketing and sales goals and develop community relations platforms for clients. Kathy is originally from central Pennsylvania and currently resides in Nashville, TN area. She has an Advertising degree from Penn State University and a Master of Education from Marymount University. She's a member of the Nashville Sports Council, Women in Music Business, and participates in community outreach for St. George's church and Old Friends Dog Rescue.
