Mary Davis
Mary Davis has over 35 years of Human Resources management experience which includes sports and entertainment, college and universities, government, financial services, green energy and health care, Through her consulting firm HRPro Solutions, she provides innovative HR services and programs to sports management organizations, teams and leagues as well as non-profits, small businesses and government subcontractors. She conducts cultural assessments and organizational audits, facilities training seminars on Respect in the Workplace, and develops strategic plans for organizational development and communication plans. Mary held the role of President, Employee and Administrative Services for Washington Sports and Entertainment (WSE), which included the Washington Wizards NBA, Washington Capitals NHL, Verizon Center arena and TicketMaster-Washington/Baltimore. During her 24 years with WSE, Mary oversaw the daily operations and developed innovative programs, efficiencies and quality controls for the human resources, payroll, pension, facilities resources and information technology departments. For 15 years, she provided consulting services to Sister to Sister Everyone Has A Heart Foundation, a non-profit which focuses on heart disease prevention and continues to work with Pollin Group CruiseOne which offers meetings at sea. Mary has been on the faculty at Georgetown University's Master's in Sports Industry Management program since 2009. Mary served as the principal human resources consultant to develop and launch the original Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) league. She resides in Columbia, Maryland with her husband Keith, has 3 children. She is passionate about baseball, enjoys the outdoors and continually seeks out new adventures during all of her travels.
