During the Summer & Fall semesters, professional development and certificate classes will be offered in two formats: Flex Learning and Online. Flex Learning classes are taught in real-time by Georgetown instructors using Zoom video conferencing. Online classes are taught using Canvas, our learning management system, and can be completed at your own pace. Both formats are designed to provide our professional learners with a high-quality, engaging educational experience. You are strongly encouraged to take Global Trends in International Migration first. You must complete the four required courses and any two electives for a total of 15.20 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), which is equivalent to 152.0 contact hours. All six courses must be completed within a two-year period.

SCS continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation and respond in support of the University community. Currently, all summer term courses will continue through distance instruction.
In terms of the Fall 2021 semester, the School of Continuing Studies will resume regular operations effective August 16 at the 640 Massachusetts Avenue building, unless otherwise noted for specific programs.
