Gregg Jones
Gregg Jones specializes in crisis management, insurgency, counter-insurgency, counter-terrorism, spontaneous crisis voluntarism effects, the future of war, humanitarian emergency response, and civil – military operations. Gregg teaches courses he developed in crisis management decision – making and strategic readiness choices. He is a professional crisis manager, owning a global consultancy with clients that include corporations, public-private institutions, and government departments. He is also an adjunct analyst with the RAND Corporation, a volunteer researcher of World War II Missing in Action cases, and a Digital Humanitarian. Previously, he has been a soldier, an information technology executive, the founder of a Non-Governmental Organization, an entrepreneur, and a US Government civilian official. Gregg has responded to Complex Humanitarian Emergencies on several continents, been a wilderness and community volunteer firefighter and an accomplished alpinist. He served as Defense representative on the Interagency shuttle diplomacy team overseeing implementation of the Dayton Peace Accords in Bosnia and he led the Army’s civil – military analysis team to post-genocide Rwanda. He has taught internationally, and has received numerous awards and decorations.
