Lisa Mathews

Lisa Mathews (nee Wolf) is the Managing Director, Ethics and Compliance, for KPMG, one of the Big Four Accounting firms. In this role, Lisa is responsible for ensuring, through the development and execution of monitoring and controls, the proper firm-wide compliance with all aspects of government contracts at the Federal, State, and Local levels, as well as firmwide compliance with Anti-Bribery and Corruption and other Special Compliance Programs. She is also the firm's Insider Threat Program Senior Official. Lisa has a wide range of diverse experience as a compliance and project management practitioner, having worked in RDT&E, Production, Deployment, Software Development, and support services projects of varying contract sizes and types with myriad clients.


Lisa is a frequent speaker and trainer on ethics and project management topics and has done so on six continents. She is also a published author and has been an adjunct instructor for the University of Maryland and now Georgetown's School of Continuing Studies. She has served as Co-Lead of the Contracts Working Group for the Integrated Program Management Division (IPMD) of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and the Vice President of Communications for the College of Performance Management (CPM). In her limited spare time, she is also a professional pianist and singer.


Lisa has been certified by the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACEI) as an Earned Value Professional (EVP), by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP), and as a Leadership Professional in Ethics and Compliance (LPEC) by the Ethics and Compliance Initiative (ECI). She earned her MBA from The Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.
