A career risk manager with more than 15 years of experience in analysis, risk management, process improvement and cyber security.


Among her career assignments, Ms. Baker has worked at Treasury at Deutsche Bank - managing multimillion dollar portfolio; Credit Risk Management at National City Bank and Simon Property Group - creating risk management policies and procedures and managing the Credit Risk Department; and United States Postal Service (USPS) Chief Information Security Office- implementing Resilience Management Model to improve cyber security posture of the USPS.


Ms. Baker currently serves as the Technical Program Manager at the U.S. Department of State where she manages risk management on diverse portfolios and collaborates with USG partners.


Ms. Baker has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Master’s in Cybersecurity and Information Management, and an M.B.A. in Banking and Finance. Ms. Baker currently holds Security +, and Network Security certifications. Ms. Baker is married and lives with her husband and two kids in Northern Virginia area. In her spare time, she likes to bake, play tennis and swim.
