Trisha Nakano Bhagen
Trisha is a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Certified Nutrition Specialist, Learning Experience Designer, and mindfulness + yoga teacher With archetypes as an educator and coach, Trisha serves as a coach to individuals and groups, mentor to new coaches, and a designer of educational experiences and well-being programs. She taps into a wellspring of knowledge and practice in the healing arts of mindfulness, yoga, functional nutrition, self-compassion, and the humbling art of parenting to work with individuals and organizations to create change in their lives and health. With roots in education and curriculum design, she moved into the wellness space and earned Masters Degrees in both Nutrition and Health and Wellness Coaching. She has worked with a wide range of people including veterans, healthcare workers, educators, and global clients through individual and group coaching and integrative nutrition programs. Her sweet spot is at the intersection of coaching, education, and well-being. She has trained coaches and facilitators in Whole Health, a patient-centered care model at the VA. She has worked with corporations in the design and building of integrative health education experiences and its interface with health coaching. She works as an Instructional Designer supporting the VA and a Learning Design Consultant supporting the building of leadership development and coaching programs. Trisha lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico where she gratefully witnesses the daily rhythm of the sunrise and sunset over the high desert with her two children, husband, and dog.
