Amanda Munroe, M.A., serves as Social Justice Curriculum and Pedagogy Coordinator at Georgetown University's Center for Social Justice Research, Teaching, and Service. In this role Amanda facilitates immersive, reflective, and experiential learning opportunities for students by coordinating community-based learning courses, supporting faculty on social justice curriculum infusion, developing global research and immersion programs and contributing to curricular development initiatives campus-wide. Amanda's graduate thesis, "Peace Education through Sport: Critical Pedagogy for Conflict Literacy" explored opportunities for countering violent extremism through peace education and sport based on empirical research she conducted as a Generations for Peace research fellow in Western Europe in the summer of 2011.
