Kathy Minardi

Founder of a consultancy created to assist leaders, including school leaders, in guiding healthy communities.


She has forty years of experience as a school leader that includes a unique background in organizational development and whole systems thinking and design. She is a presenter on a wide range of topics including the science of community building, emotional intelligence, and practices to support individual and collective growth. Kathy holds concentrations in the The Circle Process across numerous lineages of the modality including Peer Spirit Circle Way, The Circle of Trust, The Peacemaking Circle, The Way of Council, Circle Process for Reconciliation and Healing, Circle Process for Restorative Justice, and Racial Healing Circles. She leads a number of Circles including a virtual circle across continents that meets monthly. She is a graduate of Georgetown University Institute for Transformational Leaderships Executive Certificate in Transformational Leadership and Executive Certificate in Facilitation. She holds certificates from Harvard and MIT in areas of organizational behavior and leadership, and is an Organizational Workshop trainer/facilitator for Power & Systems. Kathy is a leadership mentor with the Yale University Center for Emotional Intelligence where she piloted the Centers work with children and parents. She is a Story Bridge certified trainer for a social story arts methodology successful in healing and bridging differences in groups and communities. She holds a BA from St. Olaf College and an MA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Education and English Literature.
