Cicely Nash is a Capstone Advisor in the School of Continuing Studies' Sports Industry Management Program and also teaching the following courses: Social Responsibility & Globalization, Sports Event Planning & Facility Management, and The Business of Global Sporting Events.
Cicely’s current 15+ year career has nurtured her expertise in sports facility management, catering and event management, sales, negotiations, budgeting and revenue forecasting, along with non-profit foundation development. She has worked in the sports industry for organizations including the Miami Dolphins, AT&T Stadium - Home of the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, Sacramento Kings, ESPN collegiate sports division and the 2020 Summer Tokyo Olympic Games. She has recently accepted the position of Director, Corporate Events Activation at Hard Rock Stadium - Home of the Miami Dolphins, University of Miami Hurricanes, Miami Open, and Miami Grand Prix.
Cicely was born and raised in Oklahoma. She is a graduate from the University of Kansas (BA in Biochemistry & Psychology) and St. Thomas University in Miami, FL (MBA in Sports Administration). In her spare time, Cicely is a world-wide traveler and an enthusiastic marathon runner. She just completed running her seventh continent marathon in March 2023!
