Bradley Dean

Bradley Dean is a strategic leader with more than 12 years of experience advancing resilience. He is the Founder of Resilient US and also leads Resilience Strategy for Personal Lines at Nationwide Insurance, where he shapes innovative resilience efforts that strengthen customer value and long-term market sustainability. He previously led the DHS Science & Technology Earth Systems Science Technology Center, addressing emerging risks at the intersection of community resilience, technology, and society. He also served as the Director for Flood & Resilience Policy at the White House and as the Partnerships Lead for FEMA Resilience, building the Resilient Nation Partnership Network to over 1700 organizations. Bradley was the Resilience Planning Practice Lead with Michael Baker International, an architectural and engineering firm and started his career in the NOAA Office for Coastal Management Geospatial Sciences Program. He is adjunct faculty with Georgetown University’s Emergency & Disaster Management graduate program and a Senior Fellow with Tulane University’s Disaster Resilience Leadership Academy.
