Dr. Rhonda Jones is the Deputy Executive Director for Data Governance and Analytics for a large agency. She was previously Director of the Strategic Human Resources Insights Division and before that Director of the Human Capital Policy, Planning, and Training Division for a different large agency and President of the Board of Maryland CASA Association (Court Appointed Special Advocates for children in foster care) She holds a Doctorate of Education in Human Resources Development from George Washington University, an MBA, and a B.A. in Psychology. She has held both the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and International Public Management Association for Human Resources Certified Professional (IPMA-CP) certifications.
Dr. Jones’s work experience includes 25+ years in management and HR in both private and public industry, covering recruiting, testing, benefits, training, EEO investigations, performance management, labor relations, organizational development, and HR metrics and analytics. In addition to presenting at several professional and academic conferences, Dr. Jones has taught in-person courses in Hong Kong and Singapore, and has been teaching online for more than 20 years. She published an article based on her dissertation research and authored two book chapters on talent management.
