John McGrath

Chris McGrath is one of the original adjunct faculty members of the Georgetown University Masters of Professional Studies (MPS) degree in Sports Industry Management (founded in 2008). McGrath is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and practices in the banking and financial institutions sector. His career includes three years of international consultancy in Istanbul, Turkey, when he worked for Deloitte & Touche. His background includes leading projects in valuation, acquisitions, SEC reporting and litigation support. McGrath has been involved in discovering, documenting, and adjudicating damages due to fraud and has supported attorneys, government agencies, and private clients in this process.

For Georgetown University, McGrath has taught undergraduate courses in accounting and principles of investment. McGrath has also served as an Academic Advisor for the Finance and Forensic Accounting Programs in Georgetown’s Center for Continuing and Professional Education.

McGrath earned an undergraduate in business administration from Loyola University (Maryland) and an MBA from West Texas A&M University. Since 2006, McGrath has served as an adjunct professor in multiple capacities at Georgetown University.
