Neil Dziemian is an adjunct instructor in the Master of Public Relations and Corporate Communications program. With more than 25 years of experience using the power of communications to inform, influence, and change behavior, he is a strategic communications subject matter expert. He has experience leading the entire communications lifecycle, from research, analysis, and strategy development, to execution, measurement, and evaluation on numerous communications projects.
Prior to teaching at the School of Continuing Studies, Mr. Dziemian held a position as a Specialist Leader at Deloitte Consulting, where he played a key role in the creation of Deloitte’s Federal strategic communications market offering by leading the development of the core message/brand of offering. Prior to Deloitte Consulting, he completed a 20-year military career focused on strategic communications. Today, Mr. Dziemian continues to work as an independent consultant as well as an educator.
Mr. Dziemian holds a master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University and a master’s degree in Human Resources Management and Development from National-Louis University. In addition, he maintains certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and Society for Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
