Julian Josephs
As President of his own real estate firm, Mr. Josephs is responsible for the development and marketing of over $350 million dollars of real estate in and beyond the Washington, D.C. metropolitan market. He is the Immediate Past World President of FIABCI, the leading organization for international real estate professionals, and a Director of the Global Housing Foundation, which supports and promotes the construction of low cost housing in the developing world. From May 2006 through June 2007, Josephs was the Director of International Development, Chain Links Retail. From 2001 through 2007, Josephs served the national shopping center firm Madison Marquette as the International Director, with specific responsibilities for asset management and raising international equity as well as creating new business opportunities. As Senior Vice President at James Andrew International in Washington, D.C., Josephs was responsible for representing several U.S. investors looking to invest in Europe as well as consummating a number of sales and leases of retail properties, mostly in the metropolitan area. Josephs has also been Managing Partner for Zell Partners, Ltd., in Washington D.C., where Josephs was responsible for spearheading Zell Partners' work with large retail tenants and expanding the firm's international consulting practice. He has been the International Investment Coordinator at Romanek Golub in Chicago where he was responsible for initiating the US marketing program for foreign investors. This resulted in excess of $300 million of acquisitions on behalf of those clients. Josephs has represented European Clients at Hampton & Sons in Paris, France where he supervised the development and marketing of their French properties. At Jones Lang Wootton in London, Josephs initially investigated and reported on the feasibility of establishing a North American office, before being relocated to Belgium at Brussels and Antwerp, as part of its international leasing team.
