Brian Grindall

Brian Grindall is an adjunct faculty member with the Real Estate program in the School of Continuing Studies.  He currently teaches Foundations of Real Estate Law and Deal Lab.  He is passionate about promoting an applied perspective of real estate law and real estate finance in the commercial real estate setting.

In addition to teaching at the School of Continuing Studies, Mr. Grindall holds a teaching position at George Mason University and occasionally speaks on matters associated with real estate law, finance and development.

Mr. Grindall received a Masters of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) degree from Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, a Juris Doctor with Honors (JD) from New England School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors (BA) from The College of Wooster.

Mr. Grindall practices law as a partner with the law firm of Tenenbaum & Saas, P.C. focusing on acquisition, disposition, development, financing, leasing and related corporate governance.  His practice includes the representation of real estate developers, construction companies, real estate investment trusts, lenders, owners and investors relating involving office buildings, shopping centers, residential buildings, hotels, industrial buildings and mixed-use projects.  In addition, Mr. Grindall has a substantial amount of experience representing lenders, borrowers and acquiring parties in the work-out and bankruptcy stages of distressed real estate asset transactions.  In addition to his current practice as outside counsel, Mr. Grindall previously served as general counsel to a national commercial real estate developer overseeing general operations as well as investment and development activities associated with a portfolio of office, industrial, retail and residential real estate development projects through-out the Mid-Atlantic region ranging from New Jersey to Virginia.
