Keyia Yalcin

Keyia Yalcin is the founder and owner of The Yalcin Group and Fishnet Restaurant in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her M.S. in Real Estate Development from Georgetown University and her B.B.A. Business Hospitality Management from Howard University. Keyia's passion is Real Estate and Restaurants.

The Yalcin Group was started in 2007 with the acquisition of a Washington D.C multi-unit and a recession on the horizon. It is has since grown to include multiple divisions including Development, Management and Handyman Services. In 2011 while Real Estate was down, Keyia and her husband opened Fishnet Restaurant. Fishnet took the traditional concept of Turkish Street Food 'Balik Ekmek' (translated Fish in Bread) and fused it with American tastes. This fast-gourmet seafood eatery has turned into an exciting original concept over the years focused on freshness and quality.

Keyia has taught at the University of Baltimore and has been a Capstone Advisor for Georgetown University for several years. When Keyia is not working, she is a homeschooling mother of two. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two small girls and Siberian Husky named Arti as they enjoy urban life in Baltimore City.
