Brian Wood is the Director of Asset Management at Spaulding & Slye Investments. Brian has 12+ years of commercial real estate experience in a variety of disciplines (Asset Management/Acquisitions/Loan Asset Management/Property Management). He began his career at Lincoln Property Company in Washington, DC where he worked for 3 years as a commercial office property manager while completing his Masters in Real Estate at Johns Hopkins University. Brian worked in asset management/acquisitions at Goldman Sachs in Washington, DC covering office and industrial product primarily in the Southeast. After 3 years in the Washington, DC Brian pursued an opportunity to work in the Sydney, Australia office. He worked in asset management/acquisitions in all areas of the capital stack (equity/debt/non-performing loans) in all asset types (office/industrial/residential/alternative assets). He returned to the US and relocated to Richmond, where he worked in asset management/acquisitions for real estate private equity group Lingerfelt Commonwealth Partners before joining SSI.
