Angela Rasmussen has a Ph.D. in biblical studies from the Catholic University of America where she also received her M.A. (biblical studies).
At CUA she taught Intro Old Testament, Intro New Testament, Letters of Paul, Women in the Bible, and Faith Seeking Understanding (an introduction to theology). Some of Angela's research interests include Bible translations and adaptations (ancient and modern), textual criticism, and women in the Bible. Her dissertation, titled "The Book of Ruth for Children," is an analysis of how the book of Ruth is adapted from its ancient Israelite origins to accommodate a young American audience. Angela is originally from the Pacific Northwest.
