Jeffrey Mason

Jeff Mason teaches Political Journalism at Georgetown.

In his day job, he is a White House Correspondent for Reuters. He has covered the beat since 2009 and has interviewed both President Obama and President Trump. He started his career in Frankfurt, Germany in 2000 covering the airline industry and did a stint in Brussels from 2004-2007 covering the European Union before returning to the United States in 2008 to cover that year's presidential campaign. Jeff served as the president of the White House Correspondents’ Association from 2016-2017, standing up for press freedoms at the beginning of the Trump administration. He appears regularly on television to discuss political news. Jeff has a bachelor's and a master's degree from Northwestern University and is a former Fulbright scholar.
