Erik A. Devereux, Ph.D., is a strategic consultant and policy analyst with expertise in quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis, program evaluation, and the logic of policy interventions. Recent clients include scientific societies, mission-oriented nonprofits and universities. In addition to being a principal consultant at Devereux Consulting, Erik is a senior consultant with Social Science Consultants. He has a distinguished record of teaching public policy analysis at several universities including for the McCourt School. Erik is the author of a new textbook in public policy analysis, "Methods of Policy Analysis: Creating, Deploying, and Assessing Theories of Change." Born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, nearby to Los Alamos National Laboratory, Erik also has a lifelong interest in nuclear weapons technology which includes course work at MIT and teaching a course on the subject for the Security Studies Program.
