Judith Pérez-Caro

Judith A. Pérez Caro, Ph.D., is an accomplished educator, executive leader, and organizational strategist with over 25 years of experience leading transformational initiatives across higher education, government, and nonprofit sectors. A trusted advisor to senior leaders and institutions, Dr. Perez Caro specializes in workforce strategy, academic program management, organizational effectiveness, and executive coaching.


Dr. Perez Caro founded and led the Office of Equity and Inclusion at Georgetown Law from 2016-2021. Her leadership portfolio includes directing multi-stakeholder strategic initiatives at Georgetown University-at-large, where she launched inaugural academic programs and advised on complex inclusive excellence structural change initiatives. Her expertise spans executive advisory services, leadership development, qualitative research, and public engagement with students, faculty, staff, alumni and other community stakeholders.


A master teacher and experienced coach and consultant, Dr. Perez Caro also supports professionals navigating executive transitions, organizational pivots, and leadership challenges. An extension of this commitment includes her appointment as an adjunct professor and advisory board member in the Higher Education Administration Master's Program at the School of Continuing Studies, where she educates and prepares the next generation of Higher Education and Student Affairs professionals to lead with confidence, courage and compassion.


Dr. Perez Caro holds an Executive Certificate in Crisis Leadership in Higher Education from the Harvard Kennedy School, a Ph.D. in Sociology from Fordham University, an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Columbia University’s Teachers College, and a B.A. in Communication Studies from Canisius University. A frequent public speaker, published scholar, and sought-after facilitator and coach, she is recognized for her strategic acumen, relational leadership, and ability to guide organizations through periods of growth and transformation.
