Georgetown’s Master of Professional Studies in Higher Education Administration prepares you with the practical, applied knowledge needed to transition into roles of increasing responsibility within the field of higher education.

Through a blend of focused study and hands-on practice, you’ll develop a 360-degree perspective of the U.S. higher education landscape and the specialized expertise needed to effect change. You’ll also have opportunities to connect with some of the nation’s leading higher education experts and organizations through real-world client engagements and case studies.

Our program examines the full scope of functions across a wide variety of higher education institutions. You’ll focus on not only the central role of operations but also the related responsibilities within key areas such as academic affairs, admissions, diversity, equity, and inclusion, program administration, and student affairs. You’ll also have the opportunity to further hone your skills in one of two optional focus areas—student affairs or administration—or develop a customized curriculum.
