Susan Borke is an adjunct professor at SCS in the Integrated Marketing Communications program. She teaches the Conflict Negotiation Course. Susan Borke is the owner and principal of BorkeWorks. She is also an attorney and media company executive with 30 years of experience in business affairs of multimedia organizations, including a strong background in legal and financial administration as well as management of attorney and non-attorney professionals. She has been teaching effective negotiating techniques to business people for over 25 years. Prior to launching her business, Susan Borke was in-house counsel at National Geographic Society for 28 years during which time she established and grew a Legal and Business Affairs department for the Society's Television operations. Susan also worked in private legal practice as a communications attorney. Before she was an attorney, Susan worked in financial planning and administration for CBS.
Susan Borke has a J.D. from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University and a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the District of Columbia and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Bars.
