Consulting / PwC - For the past fourteen (14) years, Mr. King has been a Real Property & Facilities Practice Leader at PwC Public Sector Practice / Guidehouse Inc. (spun off from PwC in 2018, now operating as Guidehouse, a Bain Capital company) focusing on delivering user/occupant focused Real Property & Facilities, Capital Project and Portfolio Management solutions to government, multilaterals, and commercial and institutional clients. Corporate Real Estate / Sony - Prior to his work at PwC/Guidehouse, Mr. King led Sony Corporation of America’s Corporate Real Estate Division, for eighteen (18) years, with responsibility for the operational and occupancy-focused real property functions of Sony’s North American electronics businesses and US-based entertainment businesses (e.g. Sony Music, Sony Pictures, Sony Computer Entertainment (Playstation)); encompassing 350 locations and 24,000,000 square feet of administrative and technical properties spanning 30 Countries, more than $5 billion in asset value, and combined business unit revenue of more than $22.7 billion (2010).
His work focused on minimal risk and cost while maximizing value, utility, and flexibility; delivering the facility resources necessary for business units to operate and compete effectively, as a priority, and delivering property financial performance in addition. He draws upon more than thirty (30) years of industry leadership in corporate and institutional facilities; planning & development, executing and managing end-user property needs for a broad range of businesses, institutions, transaction types, geographies, and asset classes.
