Michael consults as the director of operations and finance for a private real estate development firm in the Washington, DC metro region.
He also works for a national engineering consulting services firm. He specializes in deal administration, analysis, and underwriting, capital stack structuring, equity raising, and project optimization for the development of large scale commercial and private residential developments throughout the region. He is responsible for the development, maintenance, and execution of project business plans. Michael earned his Master of Professional Studies degree in Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech. Michael continues to be involved with Georgetown as a course instructor as well as a thesis adviser to capstone candidates. He has held his Engineer-in-Training accreditation since 2011, LEED Green Associate from 2011 to 2015, and is currently a CFA Level II Candidate after having passed his Level I exam on the first attempt.
