Dr. Cristiano is the President of Embassy Property Solutions LLC located in Washington DC, an international real estate firm specializing in the acquisition and development of embassies and chanceries for foreign missions.
His most recent transaction was the acquisition of a new embassy for Hungary in Washington DC.
Cristiano completed a successful 35-year career as a real estate developer in Newport Beach CA before moving to the Washington DC area in 2013. His specialty was land entitlement however he has developed master planned communities, homes, apartments, retail centers and offices.
While in California, he was the Real Estate Professional in Residence at Chapman University, Director of Special Projects at the Hoag Center for Real Estate & Finance, Senior Fellow at the Pacific Research Institute, Contributing Editor at the California Political Review, and a Contributing Editor at NewGeography.com.
At Chapman University in Orange County, California, Dr. Cristiano was an Adjunct Professor in the Argyros School of Business and Economics. He joined the Chapman community in 2006 as the Associate Director of the Hobbs Institute of Real Estate, Law & Environmental Studies and taught real estate at the undergraduate and graduate level. Previously, he was an Instructor in the Graduate School of Management at the University of California Irvine, teaching a course on Real Estate Development.
Trained as a psychologist in the late 1970s, Cristiano was a pioneer in the field of sports psychology. He was the Director of The Institute of Sports Excellence at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL and a consultant to the 1980 U.S. Olympic Committee at the Olympic Games at Lake Placid NY.
Cristiano resides in Arlington VA with Judy Cristiano, his wife of 35 years. They have two grown children.
