Alic Kelso

Alic Kelso is a SVP at Macerich (NYSE: MAC). Over the course of his career, he has worked in industrial, retail, multifamily, office, hospitality, often with a value-add component. Previously, he has served as a VP at Realty Income and as the Co-Head of Asset Management at Spirit Realty Capital where he led a team responsible for a $5B + portfolio comprised of over one thousand retail and industrial properties. He has also held senior portfolio management roles at a $6B family office and at Spaulding & Slye Investments where he served as the Director of Portfolio Management. Additionally, before transitioning into real estate investment, he served as an Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps where he held various Command and Staff assignments domestically and abroad.


Mr. Kelso holds post graduate degrees from the University of Chicago, the University of Edinburgh, Georgetown as well as an undergrad from St. Lawrence University. He served as a contributor to leading texts in RE financial Modelling and is a certified turnaround analyst (CTA).
