Alic Kelso

Alic Kelso works as a Portfolio Manager at Spaulding & Slye Investments based in Washington D.C.

His primary responsibilities include valuations, transaction structuring, financial management and the provision of analytical support underwriting real estate investments across the United States.

Alic previously worked for Spirit Realty Capital , Inc. (NYSE: SRC) as an asset manager for a portfolio valued at $8 Billion dollars comprised of retail, industrial and office assets. His primary focus was the disposition and repositioning of distressed assets but also served as the underwriter for special situations. Prior to joining Spirit Realty, Alic served as an underwriter and instructor for P(Gain),LLC where he was featured in the leading text book Foundations of Real Estate Financial Modelling published by Routledge and served as Officer in the United States Marine Corps with various Command & Staff assignments domestically and abroad. In his spare time Alic remains in the Marine Corps reserve and serves as faculty member at Georgetown University where he teaches Advanced Financial Modelling, Foundations of Finance and Structured Finance.  


Alic attended St. Lawrence University and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science. He went on to attend Norwich University, Georgetown University and the University of Edinburgh to earn additional degrees in International Trade & Commerce, Real Estate Finance, as well as Finance & Investment respectively.
