Mohsen Abrisham Kar

Mohsen Kar has been active in the real estate development and construction industry for more than 20 years. He combines a technical background with expertise in quantitative analysis, real estate finance, and project management.

He currently works as a consultant with a focus on project and program management and real estate advisory. He works on multifamily, affordable housing, and senior housing projects throughout the Washington, D.C. metro region. He has advised public housing authorities on rehabilitation initiatives across their portfolios and has managed construction projects for federal and local government agencies. Earlier in his career, he consulted on several high-profile development projects in Dubai during a period of rapid urban growth.

In addition to his professional practice, Mohsen has been teaching construction and development courses for more than 15 years in multiple programs, including Georgetown University’s Master of Real Estate. He also advises students on capstone projects, helping them translate academic knowledge into real-world development strategies.

Mohsen earned a Master’s in Real Estate from Georgetown University and a Master’s and a Bachelor’s in Architecture. He also holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and a LEED Green Associate credential.
